AWS Cloud and AI Day Türkiye

On Wednesday, September 23, I attended the AWS Cloud and AI Day Türkiye event. Besides the keynote, I also attended:

a talk by Orkun Torun and Kivanc Uslu with the title "From Demo to Deployment: Solving Agentic AI's Toughest Challenges". A clear, concise overview of the main issues when building agentic AI systems and how they can be solved on AWS. Notable mentions: Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon Quick, Kiro.
a workshop with the title "AWS Agentic Football Cup". This one was super fun! Huge thanks to the instructors Sümeyye Ergüven, Eren Tunçer and Zafer Sever. In a couple of hours, I managed to build a team of five AI agents, deploy them to the cloud (Amazon Bedrock AgentCore), and enjoy watching them play football against teams of fellow workshop participants. 5 games played, 2 wins, 3 losses :)

Kudos to the organizers for a great day!
